What We’ll Do
Join me on a full-day journey through East Bali’s sacred landscape. We’ll start early to reach Pura Lempuyang, where you’ll capture that breathtaking photo at the Gates of Heaven, framed by Mount Agung (weather permitting). Along the way, I’ll share stories behind this spiritual pilgrimage site and its connection to Balinese cosmology.
Next, we’ll visit Tirta Gangga, the former royal water palace filled with fountains, koi ponds, and lush gardens. Stroll across stepping stones and learn about Bali’s connection between water, life, and ritual purity.
Our final stop is the revered Besakih Temple, known as the Mother Temple of Bali, dramatically located on the slopes of Mount Agung. You’ll walk through grand gateways, ancient shrines, and terraces while uncovering the spiritual role of this temple for all Balinese Hindus.
Throughout the day, we’ll enjoy scenic drives, local insights, and a delicious Balinese lunch overlooking rice fields or mountain views.
